Opificio Neirami is the brand that BRINGS together the clothing line Neirami, designed by Laura Nardi and the design objects Ditraverso, made by Danilo Traverso. The world of theatre and cinema is the place where we met, then we became a couple in work and life and since then our synergy has been the fundamental element of all our creations. In work as in life we contaminate, collide, compare and complete each other.
LAURA
After graduating from DAMS Spettacolo and graduating from the Next Fashion School Secoli, I worked for years as a costume designer in film and advertising until 2006, when after my maternity I decided to put into practice the studies and experience gained and create my own fashion brand.
DANILO
The university gave me a cultural identity and passion for cinema and arts, the experience in the Link Projet and in the Alkemiche Workshops made me discover the way of scenography, sculpture, teaching me to be essentially an artisan and a builder. My time in the theatre taught me to think of space as a scenic dimension, to manage light and organize time. Now maybe I’m ready for Opificio Neirami, for my creations, sculptures, photos, videos and all the things that I like to do... and perhaps even for something I do not yet know.
